Chapter One: The Unexpected Arrival
January 10th, 2007...Chapter One: The Unexpected Arrival
About an hour ago, I was taking a bath. At 12: 30 PM, I was supposed to be in college, handing in my first job contract. I was so excited! My first job... money... more dolls... scrapbooking tools... fuel... >.> So yeah, so many things I could do with well-earned money.
But suddenly, as I washed my hair, I could hear a car's motor outside the house. I wondered, "Who could it be at this time of the day?" Well, my answer came almost instantly.
"¡Correo!"
Oh, my God! Correo means MAIL!
Yup! *Nods to you.* It's here! My Coco! W00t!
Um... but guess what...
I was in the shower! How was I going
to pick her up at the gate? My only hope was my brother... So I opened the bathroom's door carefully, and shouted to my brother, who was still in his room, probably sleeping. Miraculously, he answered! Thanks goodness, my brother went to the front gate and picked the package up...
My God! I was so excited! I was now speeding up in the shower to get out as soon as possible. When I was done, I went to my room to get dressed. Few minutes later, my brother knocked on my door, and I slightly opened it enough so that he could give me my precious Coco. ^_^
There she was! In my hand! A precious, brown-haired Coco doll with extremely cute eyes! I couldn't believe it! After about a week of waiting anxiously, she was there, right in front of me...
Coco Doll: "Um... Hi..."
Me: *Gasps in surprise.* "You can... SPEAK!"
Coco Doll: "Well... Yes, I can... Could you please get me out of here? I am all wrapped in this smelly plastic... :("
Me: *Still shocked.* "Oh... Um, sure! In a second!"
So I unwrapped her. I sat beside her, as she jerked her dress to take the dust out. I was still surprised, of course... I couldn't believe I had a Coco doll... Less could I believe, even by watching with my own eyes, that THAT doll could speak by herself AND move!
I decided to give her something else to dress herself with, and looked inside some old box with old Barbies and their clothing. There I found something really cute, in pink. She put it on, very shy, so I stared somewhere else in the room as she took off her old clothing.
Then I put her on my vanity, as she wondered why. She picked up a small, dark-skinned doll from nearby, and hugged it. I tought, "TOO CUTE!" So I took my camera out, and took some photos of her in the new clothes.
Finally, the Coco doll placed her eyes on me intently, until she finally spoke again.
Coco Doll: "Thanks for all of that... ^_^;"
Me: "No problem! I wouldn't leave you there forever, anyway! And that dress is pretty, but I thought you'd look even prettier with something else! ^_^"
Coco Doll: "You're quite cheerful..."
Me: "AND crazy! Meheheh!"
Coco Doll: *Stares at me in a weird fashion...*
Me: "Um... Not that I'm going to transplant you to a Licca body, you know... >_>;"
Coco Doll: "Oh... Well, I don't think I need that..."
Me: "Not for now, so do not worry! ^_^"
Coco Doll: "Thanks... That's a relief. ^_^ ...Um, not for now? O.O"
Me: *Smiles warmly.*
Coco Doll: "So... Are you my new owner?"
Me: "You just guessed! :D"
Coco Doll: "Nice... It's good to meet you. :) Your name is...?"
Me: "My name is Jessica Michelle Vázq... Oops, you just wanted the first name, right?"
Coco Doll: "Uh... Yup. Nice to meet you, Miss Jessica M."
Me: "Aww! Just call me Jessi! ^_^;"
Coco Doll: "Okay, Jessic- ...Jessi."
Me: "Right! Now, what's YOUR name?"
Coco Doll: "Well... My name is...--"
Me: "Oh, my God! I have to go!" *Gets up.*
Coco Doll: "Uh... Where?" *Follows me with the eyes.*
Me: "To college! Some big people go to college, you know. ^_^; We'll talk later, when I'm back. Okay?"
Coco Doll: "But I haven't told you my name... --"
Me: "See ya!" *Leaves the room.*
Coco Doll: "Okay... Bye!"
So, around 12: 50 PM I left my home, and went to college. I handed in my job contract, then went to the cafeteria for a can of soda. I sat alone, outside, and took my 'notebook for random stuff' out. Then I picked a purple ink pen, and wrote down a few name ideas, in case this Coco had not her own name already. Just as I went down the list, discarting names, I noticed something funny at the table right beside me. There was this other student, holding a can with the name "CoCo" printed on it! That was curious, so I took a picture of it.

When I get back from college, the Coco doll will receive her official name! Also, she'll get to meet Chimi, my cat! And finally, how will her Official Welcoming Gala Night be? What will her gala dress look like? :o
